Xiaomi Yi+ action camera with 4K recording at 60fps
CES 2017 was dominated by amazing 4K OLED TVs and other UHD gadgets. Those who want to create their own UHD video content will be definitely interested in this new Xiaomi Yi Plus camera. The biggest advantage of this upgraded model over its predecessor is the higher frame rate. Thanks to the powerful Ambarella H2 SoC (imaging processor), the Yi 4K+ camera is capable to record 4K videos at 60 fps.
The EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) in the Yi Plus cameras was also improved. Now it works at 4K video resolution, not just at 1080P like in the case of previous model.
In my opinion, in terms of photo quality will be not much difference between the Yi2 and Yi2 Plus because both Xiaomi cameras use the same IMX377 12MP image sensors from Sony.
In order to allow better audio recording you can use an external microphone through the fully reversible USB Type-C connector.
