Hawkeye Firefly 7S 2160p UHD action camera
After the popular S5 and S6 cams, Hawkeye came up now with a totally new action camera, the Firefly 7S. The biggest advantage of the Hawkeye Firefly 7S compared to its predecessors is the live-view screen. This new camera features two LCD screens, a small status screen (64 x 64 pixels) and a large one (2″ – 640 x 480 pixels) for live-view and playback.
Unfortunately, because the secondary screen required some space, the capacity of the battery was reduced from 1600 mAh to 1050 mAh. This will probably reduce dramatically the working time.
Just like the previous Hawkeye model, the Firefly 7S is based on a Sony IMX078 illuminated CMOS image sensor and Novatek 96660 imaging processor.
For those who are interested to use this camera for FPV flights (with their drones), it is a good news that the manufacturer included in the package a micro USB to AV-out cable.
The Firefly 7S features WiFi connection allowing you to live preview and control the camera from almost any Android or iOS devices.
