EKEN H9 with UHD video resolution
Few years ago, when the first small action cameras were released , the highest video resolution was only 720p. Now we can find cameras with 4K (UHD) resolution, this new EKEN H9 sports camera is probably the least expensive of them. Looking at the video frame rates we will find why it is so cheap, this camera offers only 10 fps at 4K. That is probably not enough to record enjoyable ultra high definition videos.
Powered with a 1050mAh battery this camera can record up to 50 minutes 4k videos and around 90 minutes of 1080P (30fps) videos.
This EKEN H9 camera can be remote controlled with any Android Wi-Fi device through the Ez iCam App.

Sorry, I don’t have this information. But at this price range probably NO. You should look for another action camera which 100% has AV-out (FPV out).

Unfortunately the H9 doesn’t support video out trhough USB, i’ve ordered a mini hdmi to analog converter hoping to get the H9 working with the transmitter without success. Had to use cctv cam for fpv and the h9 for recording. I know that the SJCAM support this feature.
I also experienced issues with file overwriting on memory cards larger that 32GB. Although it will support the 64GB cards, to be avoided.
64GB card is definetely not the issue, I got the same problems with 2 cams. Both with a 32GB card….
Cant say why and how but yesterday I started 3 files (FHD0001 to 3), deleted them and did 2 more videos today, each with about 25min.
All I got connected to computer: 3 to 5 … First run completely overwritten…
I have the same issue with a 64 GB card. I should be able to take more than 9999 pictures with the camera. However, around 20 pictures it starts overwriting my first pictures I made :(. I don’t know why this is happening. I looked to all the settings of the camera, nothing seems to help.
Did anyone find a fix? What is the manufacturer saying about this?
The camera formats de card in exFAT, you have to format it on the pc in FAT32, this solves me that same problem.
It’s only 48 bucks right now. I bought it from gearbest.

Bought a new Eken H9 Wifi Action Sports Camera Video Camcorder from and donwloaded the remote Preview app EZ Icam that you recommend, to install on smartphone to operate the H9 Ultra camera remotely !
Unable to activate connection on the downloaded EZ iCam app, when click on connect in the EZ Icam APP – it keeps saying it lost wifi connection, meaning it is not detecting it, although both camera and wifi settings on the smartphone says it’s detected and connected –
Please help ASAP !!!
