Discovery DS100 camera with remote controller

Probably this new DS100 camera is has nothing to do with the Discovery TV channels, but it was a smart idea to make a likeness with it.

The Discovery DS100 compared to other action cameras has fully waterproofed without any additional case or housing. This type of design is good especially for water sports, where it does not matter the extra weight.

When the camera is installed on your helmet or bike, this can be remotely triggered (start/stop video record) by a watch alike remote controller. The Discovery DS100 camera can be also controlled with any Android based devices with WI-FI connection.

This DS100 camera is based on the same NTK 96655 main CPU as the SJCAM M10 camera but with a different Sony CMOS image sensor.

  1. Hello, we just purchased this Discovery DS100 camera and took it with us on a snorkeling trip. We used it once and now it won’t work. We were able to view the videos and photos we took underwater (1 to 3 ft. max) by taking the card out and they look great. Now it won’t turn on past the initial Discovery screen went it boots up. It’s just frozen there. Not sure if it’s even taking a charge,I can run it for a bit off my computer but that’s it.

    Any suggestions?

    1. Hi Diane,
Sorry to hear about your problem, did you tried to contact the seller? Maybe you will get another one covered by warranty.

      good luck!
